EPI Churches is a digital initiative born out of love for Episkopi and its churches. Our goal is simple: to give these sacred places a voice in the modern world, without losing any of what makes them remarkable.
Four churches. Centuries of history. One community that continues to believe, to pray and to support its own.
Why This Project Was Created
Many of Cyprus’s churches remain unknown to the wider public. They have no digital presence and struggle to find funding for maintenance and restoration. This platform was created to change that. For each church we provide historical information, photography and the ability to donate, so that those who love these places can support them directly.
A Collaborative Effort
This initiative was made possible through the collaboration of community members, clergy, historians and volunteers. Every image, every text and every product in the eshop has been chosen with respect for the tradition and the community it serves.
Our Vision Moving Forward
To build a model of digital presence that can be extended to other churches across Cyprus. To preserve their stories digitally for future generations. And to keep alive the connection between people and their churches.
